Family Vacation 2005

Destination:  Dillon's Beach, CA

This April, Noni and Papa treated us all to a weekend at a beach house in Dillon's Beach.  And against all odds (weather, illness, and an unexpected trip to the hospital), we all managed to attend.  We lounged in the luxury of a beautiful home overlooking the beach and ocean, and spent our time visiting, playing cards, playing pool, reading, goofing about, watching deer, and, of course, eating very good food.  We also managed to get in a little playtime (between rainstorms) on the beach:  collecting shells, building sandcastles, and playing in the surf (up to the ankles only!)  I flew a kite, and Noni chased a beachball down the windy beach.
